Garden City Invitational

Join us in celebrating our 30th anniversary of the Garden City Invitational! Judges, Coaches, and Gymnasts enjoy our garden-themed competition each year. Victoria is known as the “City of Gardens” for its trademark hanging baskets and the annual “Spring Flower Count”. Join in the fun and dress in theme along with our Judges, Coaches, and volunteers!

Venue:Panorama Recreation Centre (15 minutes from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal) 1885 Forest Park Drive, North Saanich

Age Categories and Levels:
Argo  (born in 02 or later)                        Kip 1, Interclub, Provincial Levels 1 - 4
Tyro   (born in 2000 or 01)                           Kip 1, Interclub, Provincial Levels 1 - 5
Novice (born in 98 or 99)                         Kip 1, Interclub, Provincial Levels 1 - 5
Open (born in 97 or before)                    Provincial Levels 1 - 5

For USA competitors:
Provincial levels 1-5 roughly correspond to USAG levels 5-9.  Meet is sanctioned by Gym Canada to allow international competitors.  For further information regarding level requirements, scoring, etc., please contact the meet organizer Doug Dallinger or head coach Renata Allan (info@falcongymnastics.com).

Registration and Other Information:
Please let us know if you are interested in participating by submitting the Intent to Participate form (names not required, only anticipated numbers) and a $100 non-refundable team deposit by Friday, January 27, 2012.

The Registation Form (coach and athletes details required) and full payment must subsequently be submitted by March 30, 2012; participation can only be guaranteed on receipt of full payment.

We present medals to the top three athletes in each event and all around, ribbons for 4th through 10th in each event and all around, as well as goody bags. All gymnasts and coaches are provided post-competition snacks.  An information package detailing venue location and accommodations will be sent to all participating clubs

Fee and Refund Policy:

Full refund if Registrar informed in writing (or email) by April 15, 2010; After April 15, refunds will only be granted with a doctor's note and written notice and $40 refund only. Refund will be provided by the Registrar only at the Meet upon presentation of a doctor’s note by the athlete’s coach.
